Being a new learner driver can be both exciting and daunting; yes, you’re finally getting out on to the road with the aim of becoming truly independent – with a car, you can go where you want whenever you want – but before you can do that, there’s the thorny issue of passing the tests themselves whether you’re behind the wheel with an examiner or in front of a computer screen taking the theory test.
